Additional Information
How many people in a family can attend the course?
We prefer that all of the adults who help parent attend. That can include parents, step-parents, grandparents, and other caregivers. The more the merrier!
Can parents make up a class if they need to miss?
To enroll in the course, at least one parent needs to attend the live Zoom class most of the time. We will offer a pre-recorded videotaped class each week for participants who need to miss.
Is there homework?
Each week we ask parents to respond in writing to a series of questions – and thereby write to us about their experience in trying out the skills they learned in class. Some parents write us a sentence or two. Others write many paragraphs. Our team responds to all parent communication with compassion, cheerleading for parents’ efforts and successes, and helpful suggestions. We help parents figure out how to use the skills that we teach with their specific kid(s), on the specific issues that are going on in their home!
How can parents learn more about the class and/or register?
We’d love to hear from you – send us your questions and let us know if you would like to sign up.
